Torrevieja town centre is a very good shopping area containing
a wide variety of shopping.
Markets
On Saturday's a market is
held at Playa Flamenca and at Guardama del Segura on a
Wednesday. Also on a Wednesday is the market at Torrevieja
just off the N332 to the north of the
town.
Supermarkets
A small one just outside
the complex will supply you with everyday goods - very
convenient. The Consum at Los Altos is cheaper and bigger
(also at La Zenia). There is a Mercadona at Playa Flamenca
roundabout. And finally the Big One ...Carrefour situated at
the back of Torrevieja town
on
the N332. What you can't buy here is not worth listing, even
cement mixers - true!!!
Within easy walking distance of
the complex is a small Centro Commercial. Here you will find a
number of bars, restaurants, supermarkets, bank, car hire and
ferreteria.

Within
ten minutes walk is the Emerald Isle, huge pool bar
restaurant complex open to the public (payable).
Within
20 minutes walk are other commercial centres, one at Via Park
and the other on the roundabout on the N332 at Punta Prima.
Further along the N332, but only a short taxi ride, again
built upon the roundabout, you will find the bigger commercial
areas of La Zenia and then Cabo Roig. Taxis are very
reasonably priced.
Fabulous blue flag beaches are a
mere five minutes drive away, here you will find pedaloes and
jet skis etc.
As you can see from the information above
to get a little further afield a car could be advantageous.
However, if all you want to do is relax, take in the sun and
have a meal and drink in the evening then a car is not
absolutely essential as we can also arrange airport
transfers.
